Oneion is the mountain range that separates Corinth’s eastern territory, the Isthmus, from the southern Corinthia. The ridge begins just south of Kenchreai and runs west as far as Acrocorinth. In the photo below (facing south from the Isthmus), one can see two saddles. Most of the photos in this section were shot from the high, easternmost saddle (far left). However, the shallow saddle to the right marks the location of ancient and medieval fortifications published by Caraher and Gregory in Hesperia.
